Our mission
At The Art of Classical Guitar, our mission is to offer a comprehensive and deeply engaging approach to classical guitar education. We aim to share the beauty of the instrument and music as a whole, while fostering both personal and artistic growth in our students. Our teaching is grounded in both a deep understanding of the instrument and a commitment to continuous research and learning. We emphasize the technical aspects of playing, while guiding students toward discovering their unique artistic expression.
Our method is built on three pillars: historical research, technical development, and musical interpretation, ensuring a well-rounded education. We work with a diverse range of students—from beginners and hobbyists to those preparing for competitions, concerts, and exams. We also offer specialized guidance for entrance exams in Germany, where we’ve successfully helped students in the past.

Student Success Stories
“Belmin played a pivotal role in my musical journey. After a two-year break from playing guitar, he reignited my passion and motivated me to improve. His teaching not only sharpened my technique but also deepened my emotional connection to classical music, helping me feel its essence in a completely new way. When I decided to take the guitar exam for my audio engineering degree, it felt like an impossible task after such a long pause. Yet, through Belmin’s demanding yet supportive approach, I made remarkable progress within just a year. He also helped me overcome performance anxiety and instilled a strong sense of discipline.
Belmin is a passionate and inspiring teacher who truly brings classical music to life. His lessons are focused on emotional expression, but he also sets high expectations for his students, pushing them to reach their full potential. If you're ready to put in the work, Belmin's authentic and encouraging guidance will ensure steady and meaningful growth”.

“As someone who has been playing guitar for years, I thought I had a solid foundation. However, after just a few classes with Belmin Okanović I learned techniques and insights that completely transformed my playing. His ability to break down complex concepts and focus on what truly matters, and the focus on the basic techniques made a huge difference in my progress.
Most importantly, thanks to his guidance and help, I was able to successfully get into the Robert Schumann Hochschule, which had been a dream of mine. His support, both musically and in preparing me for the application process, was invaluable”.
